Welcome, I'm Amber Roberts, the maker behind Vallee Ceramics. 

I grew up with a passion for visual arts and the environment on Bundjalung Country, Northern RIvers NSW.

I studied a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the National Art School (NAS) in the early 2000's, and after a career in corporate finance spanning two decades, I have only recently committed to working full time as a ceramicist... A mid life "40's Renaissance".

My studio is based in Currumbin Valley, in the stunning Southern Gold Coast Hinterland. I enjoy spending my days between the studio, cuddling my menagerie of chickens, and running around after my young family. 

If you're feeling the pull toward a creative life, I strongly encourage you to follow the call. The fear and doubt can overwhelm, but the rewards are plentiful in ways that cannot be underestimated. 

We have this one precious life. I hope you love yours as much as I love mine.
